Panmure Liberum appointed as Joint Broker to Sabre Insurance Group Plc

Sabre Insurance Group plc (“Sabre”) is a motor insurer with a diversified, multi-channel distribution strategy selling policies through a broad network of brokers and its two Direct Brands - Go Girl and Insure 2 Drive. 2021 saw Sabre expand into motorbike underwriting through brokers. They aim to provide fairly priced policies to a wide range of customers and benefit from their pricing expertise, experience and vast historical data in the more ‘specialist’ areas of the market. Sabre has an industry leading Discounted Combined Operating Ratio (“COR”; Net Loss Ratio + Expense Ratio) of 83.6% (H1 2024) and maintains strict pricing discipline, focusing on margin and profitability over policy volumes. Sabre is one of the few motor insurers across Europe that has maintained a COR <100% over the last 10 years.
