Shailesh Raikundlia

Shailesh joined Panmure Gordon in November 2016 to broaden our coverage in the FIG sector where he will focus on Banks & Specialist Financials research.

He joins from Haitong Securities where he analysed the UK banking sector for five years.  Shailesh has over 18 years of experience in investing and analysing the financial sector having previously worked at Credit Suisse, MF Global and Thames River Capital. 

Shailesh  holds an MSc in Finance from the ICMA Centre and is CFA qualified.


Fabien Holler

Fabien has over 10 years’ experience, having joined Panmure Gordon in 2014. He began his career in technology transfer at the UK Department of Trade and Industry, and then Venture Capital at Imperial Innovations Group plc. He then joined Espirito Santo Investment Bank prior to joining Panmure Gordon.

Fabien has extensive experience of capital markets and M&A transactions on both AIM and the Official List, including IPOs and secondary fundraisings. He specialises in the Financials sector, and his interests range from alternative lending and fund management to fintech and the insurance sector.

Fabien holds an MSc in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité, one of the top Schools of Engineering in France, and an MBA with distinction from the Edinburgh Business School.

Nick Hiley

Nick joined Panmure Gordon in 2014 from Canaccord, where he was head of European equities in New York. He has been covering US institutions for 25 years, and has held a series of senior positions at UBS Warburg, Commerzbank, Citi and UniCredit. After training with Slaughter & May, Nick joined SG Warburg & Co in 1990, before moving to Commerzbank in ’98 as head of brokerage New York, and to UniCredit in ’09 as head of equities New York.

Nick took his JD at Columbia Law School, has a Masters in Finance & Investment from Cass Business School and is a FINRA principal.

Barrie Cornes

Barrie has been the insurance analyst at Panmure Gordon since 2007 covering both Life and General Insurance. He started his career in 1985 at Royal Insurance in underwriting and progressed to become Underwriting Manager for Royal in its City office. Following a period as Investor Relations Manager at Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) he became an insurance analyst at Charterhouse Securities in 1998 before a move to Cheuvreux. He has regularly been ranked top 5 in the Extel UK Small/mid cap survey including #1 and has numerous Starmine awards including #1 for earnings accuracy. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a Chartered Insurer and a regular judge on the Insurance Times annual Insurer of the Year awards panel.
