Panmure Gordon is pleased to announce that Erik Anderson has been appointed Head of Corporate Broking, and Chloe Ponsonby joins as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Broking.
Erik will be responsible for leading Panmure Gordon's Corporate Broking business and brings 30 years of experience to our client franchise across a range of sectors.
Erik re-joined Panmure Gordon in 2015 following a successful career in senior broking positions across a number of investment banks. He has led numerous IPOs, secondary fund-raisings, acquisitions and take-overs both on London's Main and AIM markets.
Chloe Ponsonby joins Panmure Gordon as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Broking. Initially focusing across all sectors Chloe will drive expansion of our client footprint in the UK. Her broad experience of working with senior client executives across a range of capital and business solutions will be highly valued in the current market.
Chloe joins Panmure Gordon from McLean Advisory where she was a Partner. Prior to this, she gained substantial experience managing UK equity funds at Jupiter Asset Management before moving on to advise companies as a Corporate Broker on strategy and capital raising. She is currently a Non-executive Director of Avon Rubber.
These two appointments are the latest developments in Panmure Gordon's growth strategy. Last month Alan MacDonald joined Panmure Gordon as Head of Equities, and Michael Whealon joined as Head of Private Capital Solutions.
Ian Axe, Chief Executive of Panmure Gordon, commented:
I am delighted to welcome Chloe to Panmure. Her experience means she can provide perspective from the rare combination of a broker, board director and investor.
Erik's promotion to Broking department head underlines the experience and leadership we are building at Panmure Gordon.
This is key to our expansion plan and will enable us to strengthen our existing Equity Corporate Broking business while we build out our Debt Capital Markets, M&A and Private Capital client offering.
