LONDON, 24 July 2008 – Institutional stockbroker and investment bank, Panmure Gordon & Co, announced today the appointment of Adam Pollock, former head of equities at Dawnay Day Investment Banking, as a managing director within the firm's corporate broking team. He will report to the head of investment banking, Richard Gray.

Mr Pollock will start at Panmure Gordon on 14 August.

Biographical notes for Mr Pollock:

Adam Pollock has nearly 20 years experience dealing with institutional investors and has led the marketing of over 300 fundraisings. His finance career commenced in Lazard Brothers corporate finance department where he spent five years advising on a wide array of deals including the privatization of British Airways. In 1988 he moved to Hoare Govett's small companies team as an equity salesman before joining Deutsche Bank in 1993 as head of small/midcap sales. He then spent four years at Landsbanki Securities as head of equity capital markets before moving to Dawnay Day Investment Banking.
