LONDON, 30th September 2008 – Two employees from leading independent investment bank, Panmure Gordon & Co, have ridden 360 miles along the Pennine Cycleway to raise approximately £4,500 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and the David Adams Leukaemia Appeal.

David Johnson and Matthew Capp, both from the firm’s sales team, rode the distance over six days. They rode both on and off road, up and down numerous hills and even waded through a river where the bridge had been swept away by recent floods.

David said: “We set off from Derby and ended up at Berwick-on-Tweed. The scenery was spectacular and the ride was definitely worth it, even during inclement weather, because the charities for which we raised money are excellent. We want to send a big thank you to everyone who supported us, including our family, friends and many colleagues at Panmure Gordon & Co.”
