Robert Naylor

Robert has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, including 12 years specialising in investment funds, advising on numerous transactions including primary and secondary equity fundraisings. He re-joined Panmure Gordon following two years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s investment trust business.  Robert previously worked in the Panmure Gordon investment funds division from 2012 – 2016. Before that, he held senior corporate finance roles at Matrix Corporate Capital and Teather & Greenwood. Robert qualified as a chartered accountant at Ernst & Young in 1999.

Victoria Chernykh

Victoria joined the Investment Funds team in 2017, bringing over 15 years of diverse research and marketing experience across asset classes, including funds, single equities and bonds.

Prior to Panmure Gordon, she was an Investment Director at Tilney Bestinvest and has previously held roles at S&P Global, Religare Capital Markets and Commerzbank.

Victoria has originated and authored over 200 research/strategy pieces targeted at institutional investors, and has a degree in Economics and an MBA in General Management from Cass Business School.

Charlie Murphy

Charlie joined Panmure Gordon in 2012 from Matrix Corporate Capital, and was previously part of the investment funds team at Landsbanki Securities (formerly Teather & Greenwood).

Fund-specific interests include the need for the fund structure to add value to the investment case and the alignment of interest between the investors, Board and the investment manager.

Charlie has a degree in Economics and an Executive MBA from CASS Business School.

Phil Hopkins

Phil joined Panmure Gordon in 2012. He joined the Closed End Funds research team at ING Barings after graduating with an MA in International Economics and BA Hons in Economics in 1994.

Phil joined the Bear Stearns Country Funds team in 1999, leaving in April 2001 to join Teather & Greenwood as a senior salesman.
