Technology research analysts Peter McNally, Paul Morland and Alasdair Young recently published a report that looks at all UK listed technology companies with a market capitalisation greater than £100m.
‘Technology: 2020 Vision’ looked at c.50 companies using the Rule of 40 metric, which is revenue growth rate + operating margin. UK technology companies performed well using this metric compared to the broader UK market, with an average score of 25% versus 20% for the rest of the market ex-real estate.
