Panmure Gordon announces Head of Investment Banking

Panmure Gordon is pleased to announce that John Muncey has been appointed Head of Investment Banking.

John has extensive investment banking experience, and most recently was a Senior UK Coverage Banker at J.P. Morgan Cazenove. Previously he was a Senior Corporate Finance banker at UBS and was a member of the Corporate Finance team at Hill Samuel. He has advised companies in sectors including consumer, healthcare, retail, leisure and industrials.

Transactions he has worked on include three disposals for Dairy Crest, the takeover of ProStrakan by Kyowa Kirin and a number of deals for SABMiller, including its takeover by Anheuser Busch InBev.

John is the latest senior leader appointed by Panmure Gordon as it grows its business to become a modern merchant bank, offering an array of products and services to support growth for UK SME and mid-cap corporates and investors.

Other recent hires include Alan MacDonald as Head of Equities, Michael Whealon as Head of Private Capital Solutions and Chloe Ponsonby as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Broking. In addition, Erik Anderson was appointed Head of Corporate Broking.
